Well, this is the box, what you get here and it says Fossil. This is the Marshal.
This is the model number FTW, 2109
The MRP here it says 19995, which is approximately 20,000K INR, A couple of symbols which they have mentioned here: fossil Q, Marshall. Of course it’s a touch watch speaker as well. I have been waiting for this one for a very long time and today I’ve just got this one. I’M really excited to just go and do the unboxing here alright. So let’s just go ahead and open this up here there comes the beauty.
This is the watch itself. It says Fossil. There is this branding of Fossil as well. Here this is the speaker. This is the microphone.
If you can see that, let me zoom this for you. That’S the microphone and little detail here. There is this fossil logo as well there. I hope you guys can see that this is the watch itself. Well, this looks so neat .
And this is called as Fossil Q Marshall. This is how it looks from behind. Well, it’s a very manly looking watch, and that was the reason why I bought it. Oh, you should really try this one.
I got it at a really very much lesser price. I will just leave the links in the description below so that you can just go and check out the latest prices for this watch, which is fossil Marshall Q. So I’m just gon na go ahead and power. This up here so just have to just push this and there is a haptic feedback as well, and this is powered by Android Wear. So what you can do is you know you can just go ahead and download the Android wear app and zoom.
. You will be able to get to know all the details here. All the application watch faces and everything. So, in the meantime, I’m just going to keep the Waterside here for some time and I’m just gon na show you what’s there inside the box, you would know that this is the shape of the letter Q, and these are some of the booklets or manuals which You get with the box, let’s just keep this aside, and this is another box in here, which is the charger. Now this charger is a magnetic charger, which is you know, zaps over to the flip side of your watch case.
Just gon na move this okay, You can see there is a small charging logo here, I’m not sure if you can see, because this this is kind of shining, but there is a small logo which says charge now. This is a magnetic charger. So what really happens is you just have to take this one and just put behind you see how it happens. Zap, like that, it’s very easy to you know it just the magnet kind of really works very well here there are different watch faces of what happens. Is there are lot of options?
If you scroll down, you will see airplane mode. Speaker, settings DND settings right. This is how what happens here a couple of options here, if you want to scroll down just scroll down, go to the settings and if you want to you, know just exit out of the screen. So, just let’s do like this like this and if I go to settings zap
Like that, so the good thing about this is that, even if I keep holding on to this one, it will show me couple of settings here and if I scroll down it, has Fossil inbuilt. You know some watch faces here.
You can change the color. You know index color like that, and you can choose the style as well like which style do you want? There are a couple of styles as well. The good thing is, you are able to see how it is applied on the watch so say. For example, do you want this so just select this one go back, that’s a watch for you.
Let me just read this up for you. That’S how the watch looks like this is the ambient lighting as well. So because you know you don’t want to have the Smart Watch powered up always and consume the battery, but it’s just that when you it just wakes up. You know when you want to see the time, so you have to do a couple of settings here. If I do like this once it will, just you know, give me the menu.
If I do this like this, it will just exit that out now couple options here for the watch faces. There are a couple of one. You know like this one, this one this one, I have kind of just gone ahead and downloaded some of them like say, for example, this there are certain watch faces which comes in inbuilt. This is one of them, so there are a lot of things, permutations combinations which you can do.
Lot of things which you can do here, I would say the feedback on the is kind of very smart, and the feedback is very good on the screen.
I did not never never faced any kind of lags or something like that. You are able to add some more watch faces just scroll up a lot of lot, many options which you get here a lot many options, it’s very easy and very versatile kind of watch as well. You can download the Android wear and and see what all options you would get. This looks super cool as well right, okay! Well, this wants my favorite.
This is the Grant one which they have in the Grant models. I like the overall built of this watch. It’S very sturdy and very manly. Looking so definitely it’s a good buy for you can download the Android wear from Google Play Store and enjoy a plenty of watch faces there. There is a very interesting feature when that comes to charging.
I have connected my USB charger to the laptop and the magnetic charger to the flip side of the watch case. As soon as this has been put, there is a display which shows on the watch, as you can see here, and you can also see the light. Has been you know it just lets up here. I’M not sure if you can see that, but this is the bright light which you see there and that’s what happens as soon as the watch gets connected to the charger. So I really find this very interesting and really cool for this particular watch here.
Watchface will reflect the charging data differently. Now, let’s just go ahead and see the different options available to us. Let’S click on the Settings within the settings here will find a lot of other options like display, sound, etc, etc. As you can see here now, let’s click on the display Here. You’Ll see a lot of other options like adjust the brightness change, what font size a lot of other options.
As you can see here, you also have an option to always on-screen or not. That’S just one of the battery saving options for you and that’s how you scroll down, then, let’s just go over to the sounds again a lot. Many options in the sounds: you have the ringing volume. You have the pairing options: let’s just go to apps and notification. App info app notification and a lot of other options which you can do inside the apps or you want the apps to do for you, let’s exit it gestures as well.
You can see that this watch has gesture controls. If you just flip on the left, if you have one function on the right, one function on the top bottom will have the other function. So there are plenty of options which you get on the spot here, let’s exit that lets go to connectivity. There is this watch has bluetooth, this has the Wi-Fi as well, and this is something which is really very cool. This is how you get the Bluetooth option, and currently it says it’s connected to my phone, so exit right.
Let’S just go to Wi-Fi and it says it automatically detects the Wi-Fi here if you set that up for once, so I’m just gon na go ahead and exit out of this screen for now. This is the accessibility magnification gesture, because if you just tap like twice thrice, they need to be magnifying. This is the storage which you can do some other options which you see here and then comes the system. Yep, that’s a system. So if you go to the system, you will see the options to power off disconnect about which will give you the information about the watch and, let’s just go ahead and then let me show you how this is power off, so you will see the device is Kind of shutting down now – and you know the moment – it just says it shuts down – it – gives you a vibration and haptic feedback there, so that you know that the watch is kind of you know in the switch off mode.
Overall, it’s a very great force. One of the most affordable watches, which fossil has made this just looks like an actual watch great build quality, stainless steel watch. The resolution is very good as well. You can see that even if you go out in the daylight, you are still able to see lot of other watches. You know gets you some kind of difficulty to see there.
The processor which they have used is also very good. I did not experience any kind of lag with lot of plenty of for watch faces from the Android wear app, so I think we’re all. This is a very good buy for you.
